*Cheers*
Yays! So this is my first real post on my new blog!! A new place to chat about my daily adventures, post my silly pictures, and display my new artwork.
And how perfect to have a new place to write, when it is the beginning of a new chapter in my life!! Three Thursday’s ago I became a married woman *shocked face* and then two Saturdays later, we adopted another puppy!! I would say those are two pretty big events. And I really could not be happier with things - I am so totally sailing in the clouds
I am also totally hyped about my art - I think I have finally found my niche! The discovery of Esty has opened up a world to me that I thought never existed - a place online ONLY for crafters, to sell their handmade works-of-art. To me, this is so ideal, as I have found the computer to be my “medium” of choice, and this site brings all sorts of different artists together - and seeing other digital artists selling their work was sooooo inspirational!! I have been working hard to compile some art that I would like to sell as prints, and I think by next week my little Etsy Store will have listings!!! WOOT!!
David and I used some of the wedding money to buy an awesome printer (the Epson R2400) so I can print my work at home, and we went for a little shopping spree to get all the other goodies I need. I am organized and ready to start shipping my out my art!
I will add link to my etsy store as soon as I add some listings.
On a totally different note, I wanted to introduce my two little puppies - Marzipan the Westie and Ginger the Mutt
They are much cuter in person, but you get the idea. I am sure I will post more pics of them later, and maybe even a short video of them playing *hehe* They are wonderful dogs - I am so lucky to have them both!!
Marzipan is just over a year old - we brought her home last July, right after I moved down to Texas to be with David. She is very hyper and loves attention. Ginger is the new addition to the family - we got her a few weeks ago from a Rescue place, and are not too sure how old she is…we are thinking/hoping at least 5 months…lol otherwise she might be getting pretty big!! She is such a happy dog, and totally keeps Marzi occupied!! They play almost non stop and love each-other to bits - it’s like they are soul-mates *hehe*
In other news, my website is slowly being updated. I have a lot going on, so I am not sure if the site will get redone or not…but I have put some new pics in the gallery! I need to add a second page there though, or change the gallery completely….hmmmm
David and I have also been working out details on redoing our kitchen and bathrooms - oh and painting the bedroom too! Idealy we would like to move in a year, and the house totally needs some updates. I love being a home owner - it is so much fun thinking of things to do to make it more like “home”.
Well I guess that’s it for now! I really should get back to drawing - I want my store up asap!!
Toodles!
