My First Video :)
Let me know what ya’ll think
Well the two Little Bo Peep illustrations are finally done!
YAYS!!!

The video, however, is still in the works - I have to make an intro and I keep putting it off. It is not that I am camera shy…its just that I can’t seem to get the right lighting! Ugh. It is the perfectionist in me that keeps me from choosing the intro clip - lol I think I have recorded like 50 different takes…I am just going to have to bite the bullet and choose one. No more procrastinating!
That being said, I hope to have it up in the next week
Little Bo Peep Prints will be up for sale this upcoming week too. They will be sold as a set, however I will list them separately as well (the sheep one is cute just on its own too I think).

I am still debating whether or not to sell the originals….It is hard to part with my artwork - that is why digital media is so much easier for me
As you can see, the scanned in paintings are alot brighter than the photo I took holding them. I think I will play around with the colours in photoshop to maybe get them more like the originals.
In other news, I have joined Suzi Blu’s Mixed Media site, and am going to sign up for her online class!! I am super excited!! Come sign up with me and support a wonderful artist HERE
Oh! and I got my haircut - as you can see in the picture. It is a subtle asymmetrical cut and I LOVE it! However, it is alot higher maintenance than I expected - I definitely have to blow dry it and put product in it…and I have to get a flat iron lol….been holding off getting one of those things for years now, but the time has come to buy one
Anywho, hope ya’ll are well and I will try to update here more often than once a month lol
Have a super duper weekend tout le monde!

I have had a horrible time with my camera and imovie - imovie HD does not support my camera and imovie 8 sucks. I won’t go into all the details, cause that would take a while lol, but believe me, its been a pain. I think I have finally come up with a method for editing though *fingers crossed*
On top of my editing crisis, I realized after filming a bit of my work, that the table I was using shook like crazy! I never noticed it before since I move alot when painting/drawing, but the camera sure shows it! The footage will totally make you feel sea sick lol. Soooooo, we decided to take a trip to Ikea in Houston and picked up a new table.
Voila!

I am happy that I didnt do a ton of filming before I realized the shaking, but most of the outlining process will be edited out - oh well!
I have not done a ton of painting, even after getting the table - this is all ive done so far

not much eh? I am really happy with it so far though *pats herself on her back* hehe
I am still getting used to having a camera beside me while I paint - I keep on checking to see if I am blocking the view with my hands or head lol. I usually keep my face really close to my work, but I am learning to sit farther back.
I hope to get this part done this week, and then start on the second part next week - with the video up shortly after that.
I will keep ya’ll posted with my (slow) progress!
We are going to see Wall-E tonight, at the midnight showing - sooooo super duper excited!! It is going to be excellent, i know it
Have a happy Thursday everyone!
Tags: Art, camera, ikea table, imovie, lindsay belle jennings, lindsay jennings, videoI have been wanting to get an imac for a while now (ever since highschool actually lol - we used them for video editing) and this past weekend we got one!!! I am so thrilled!! It looks so beautiful on my desk hehe

And what is even more exciting, is that now I can edit my videos!!! WOOHOO!! I have my little filming station all set up for me painting

and here is everything together - mac, video, printer, etc
its messy, i know, but c’est la vie!

and these are the two drawings that will be in the first video
First is Little Bo Peep, looking for her lost sheep

and second is one of the lost sheep

yah i know you cant see the sketches too well - but you get the idea (hopefully lol)
I will keep ya’ll update with how my first art vlog is coming along. I am thinking it will not take too long to make, but you know me :P I am a slow poke!
Well I am off to play with some of my video clips!!
Have a super duper Wednesday tout le monde
A wee bit of progress on my Lollipop/Musical Girl

The pink looks a little purple here, but it is just the bad lighting. I have not yet decided on the colour of the lollipop, so it is still white….I am thinking blue, but have not made up my mind.
This past Wednesday was my Birthday - I am now 24 years old - eek!! It is so crazy how time flys by. I still feel 16 lol!!
I had a very nice relaxing day - David took work off and we went to the mall to exchange a pair of pants that my dear friend Orest sent me (too small for me). I got two brightly coloured polo shirts and a pair of capris from AE instead! Thank you sooo much Oresto!!! hehe
David bought Enchanted for me and made a beautiful card!! Plus I given a pair of white gold, Aquamarine earrings!! Since moving down here, I have let my ear piercings grow over, so with these new studs I will be able to get them re-pierced!! WOOT! ![]()
My parents sent me down a pair of Clam Digger Capris, (with subtle blue stipes instead of brown) from Lululemon, as well as a hairband - I LOVE Lululemon!! It is my favourite store!!! My mom also let me know that they opened up a Lulu down in The Woodlands!! AHHHH!!! omg soooo…..
On Saturday we ventured over to The Woodlands, and I spent the Birthday money that I received from my In-Laws, at Lululemon!! lol I bought this sports bra and these crops (the bra is in a bright blue and the pants are black and white stripes, like the Clam Digger 2). I was like a little girl in a candy store! hehe
I also got some more Mineral Veil from Sephora’s Bare Escentuals Line, as well as some Tarte Natural Cheek Stain (I took Natasha Wescoat’s advice - tried it, and LOVED it lol).
Saturday was heavan lol - not only did I get to shop in my favourite stores, but I got to spend the day with my wonderful husband, and it was absolutely perfect outside!!!
So all in all, my birthday rocked!
In art news, David and I are going to work on making a speed-art video, showing how I make my mixed media projects. We just need some editing software lol - nothing too important, eh? ![]()
I am excited to do it though! I love watching Natasha Wescoat and Suzi Blu paint, as well as many others on Youtube.
It will be a fun side project!
Alrighty, so enough chit-chat for today.
Off I go to work on my Lollipop girl!!
Have a super duper Monday tout le monde!!
