Soooo it has been a few months since I have posted anything here…
Twitter and Facebook have become my two favourite places to update – it is just so easy to type in quick notes and thoughts!
I am sorry little blog
I have neglected you…

BUT here I am! with some updates!!

I have recently made a Facebook Fan Page, where I will be updating and posting things like crazy.
However, I will try to limit the posts to just ones about my Art.
My Twitter page is where you will find my random daily thoughts and activities, plus links to my videos and work-in-progress pics.
This way, if you just want the art side of things you can just become a fb fan, but if you want to know more about me you can follow me on twitter!

I will try and post things here too….yet now with the convenience of fb pages and twitter, it almost doesn’t make much sense to post things here – my blog seems isolated from the rest of the web. But we will see

I recently posted a new short video about the 6 things I use when making one of my illustrations

I am working on another video, which is about a mixed media piece, and that should be up in the next few days!
I really want to start broadcasting myself working as well, so I have to find a good webcam with a built-in mic…..hmmmm any suggestions?

Have a super duper Wednesday tout le monde!

Well the two Little Bo Peep illustrations are finally done!
YAYS!!!

The video, however, is still in the works – I have to make an intro and I keep putting it off. It is not that I am camera shy…its just that I can’t seem to get the right lighting! Ugh. It is the perfectionist in me that keeps me from choosing the intro clip – lol I think I have recorded like 50 different takes…I am just going to have to bite the bullet and choose one. No more procrastinating!
That being said, I hope to have it up in the next week

Little Bo Peep Prints will be up for sale this upcoming week too. They will be sold as a set, however I will list them separately as well (the sheep one is cute just on its own too I think).

I am still debating whether or not to sell the originals….It is hard to part with my artwork – that is why digital media is so much easier for me

As you can see, the scanned in paintings are alot brighter than the photo I took holding them. I think I will play around with the colours in photoshop to maybe get them more like the originals.

In other news, I have joined Suzi Blu’s Mixed Media site, and am going to sign up for her online class!! I am super excited!! Come sign up with me and support a wonderful artist HERE

Oh! and I got my haircut – as you can see in the picture. It is a subtle asymmetrical cut and I LOVE it! However, it is alot higher maintenance than I expected – I definitely have to blow dry it and put product in it…and I have to get a flat iron lol….been holding off getting one of those things for years now, but the time has come to buy one

Anywho, hope ya’ll are well and I will try to update here more often than once a month lol
